After sixteen years in the transportation industry, Jerry — known to most as Jerr Bear — felt called to build something of his own. Not just a trucking company, but a family legacy that reflects the values he lives by: hard work, honesty, and treating people right.

With the support of his wife and two children and the determination that only comes from years on the road, Tidal Bear Transport rolled into life with a mission to serve Coastal North Carolina with the consistency of the tide and the strength of a bear.

With sixteen years in the transportation industry, he brings a deep understanding of freight, logistics, customer service, and the kind of reliability that only comes from years on the road.

Over the course of his career, Jerry has hauled just about everything — from local LTL shipments to regional freight, port loads and building supplies on a Moffitt. Jerry has earned a reputation for being steady, dependable, and the kind of driver who treats every load with the same care and attention he’d give his own family’s belongings.

Beyond the experience, what truly sets Jerry apart is his character. He’s the kind of person who double‑checks every strap, communicates clearly with customers, and takes pride in doing the job right the first time. His work ethic, integrity, and commitment to exceptional service are the foundation of Tidal Bear Transport.
